Frankie Gross was born and raised in Brentwood, NY. He spent most of his earliest years sitting at home with his Grandma, Joyce Lorefice, who would often sit at her kitchen table drawing faces, animals, flowers, designs, anything that she could think of. As soon as Frankie would come in and sit right beside her, he was handed a pencil and a piece of paper and was sent into his mind to create his own images. This was the start of a graphic designer. Frankie started his Computer graphics at age 12 on his first apple computer, run solely off of floppy disks (and when I say floppy I mean like they were the real reason for the name of floppy.) Frankie would begin to create greeting cards. Whenever his mother needed an invitation, or a thank you or a birthday card, Frankie was right up to the task! After finishing up high school, Frankie went into Graphic design at Katharine Gibbs School; however, fresh out of high school and not ready to start learning again after 13 years of it, Frankie dropped out of school and went on to work various retail/food service jobs, eventually ending up at Starbucks for 5 years. As time went on, Frankie, still not sure where he wanted his life to go, decided he was willing and ready to start learning again, aside from some side prints here and there for himself and a comic book about himself, he was a little out of practice. So back to school he went, and now graduated from Gibbs, Frankie is ready to start up his life and move out into the world. Time for Frankie to become a grown up!!!
